Cervical Instability
Cervical Instability, Spinal Degeneration & Scoliosis
♡ What Is Cervical Instability?
Cervical instability occurs when the structures that support the neck are unable to provide proper stability, which can lead to pain, headaches, dizziness, and neurological symptoms.
Living With Cervical Instability
The cervical spine supports the head and protects the spinal cord. When the neck becomes unstable, it can place extra stress on surrounding muscles, joints, nerves, and other structures.
Cervical instability can cause symptoms such as chronic neck pain, headaches, dizziness, balance problems, fatigue, and neurological symptoms that may worsen with certain movements or activities.
For me, it can make everyday tasks more difficult and unpredictable. Activities that involve looking down, holding my head in one position for too long, or spending extended periods upright can sometimes increase symptoms and discomfort.
Like many chronic conditions, cervical instability is often invisible to others. While people may not see it, it can have a significant impact on comfort, mobility, and day-to-day life.
